Leh: A major organisational program of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took place yesterday under the leadership of Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary and in charge of Jammu & Kashmir and UT Ladakh.
The event was attended by Ashok Kaul, State General Secretary (Org), Tashi Gyaltson Khachu, State President UT Ladakh, and Tashi Gyaltson, CEC LAHDC Leh.
Executive members, councillors, BJP state and district office bearers, and leaders from Mahila, Yuva, and Kissan Morchas along with Mandal Presidents and their teams participated in large numbers.
During the program, three prominent women leaders joined the BJP and were warmly welcomed by the leadership and workers. Yangchan Dolma Onpohor Samkar, former women president of Ladakh Buddhist Association,
Spalzes Dolma Dukhangpa Khagshal, former worker of District Congress Party Leh, and Sonam Angmo Shalipa Khagshal, former worker of District Congress Party Leh, chose to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence.
Their decision to join BJP reflects growing co. anfidence in the party’s vision and approach. The leadership assured them of full support as they work for the welfare of people in Ladakh.
The program marked another step forward in BJP’s outreach efforts, with Tarun Chugh leading the way to empower local leadership and strengthen the party’s presence in sensitive regions.
