Leh: In a proud moment for the Union Territory, UT Ladakh Tourism has been awarded the prestigious “Best Adventure Destination” title at the India Travel Congress & Tourism Awards (ITCTA) 2025, held in New Delhi.
The recognition celebrates Ladakh’s growing reputation as a world-class destination for high-altitude adventure and sustainable tourism. From trekking and mountain biking to spiritual and cultural experiences, Ladakh has increasingly drawn global attention for its unique offerings and environmentally conscious travel initiatives.
The award was graciously received by Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), Director Tourism, UT Ladakh, during the ceremony. The award was presented by Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, alongside Mr. Pirzada Farooq Ahmed Shah, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), J&K.
This recognition further boosts Ladakh’s efforts to position itself not just as a remote getaway but as a responsible and exhilarating adventure hub for global travellers.
