Kargil: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, handed over the land allotment order for the construction of an office cum community hall to President Zila Sainak Welfare Board, Kargil Haji Abdul Hussain at his office chamber Wednesday.
The ceremony was attended by Zalia Sanik Board Officer, Captain A.K. Pawar, and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kargil, Jhangeer Akhoon.
CEC Dr. Akhoon described this development as historic, emphasizing its significance for the overall welfare of ex-servicemen.
He stated that the new facility would enable them to ease out their daily social interactions and activities.
This initiative underscores the LAHDC Kargil’s commitment to supporting the welfare of ex-servicemen and their communities.
Dr Akhoon directed the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kargil to expedite the necessary pending official work for the land allotment process.
The development is expected to benefit the ex-servicemen community in Kargil, and the LAHDC Kargil remains committed to their welfare and well-being.
