LEH: Member of Parliament Ladakh, Mohmad Haneefa called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah the other day, urging him for the restoration of talks at the earliest between the High-Powered Committee and the representatives of Apex Leh and KDA Kargil.
The MP thanked HM Shah for sparing his valuable time. Jan said in a message that overwhelmed and truly grateful to have once again met Home Minister Amit Shah.
“We had a detailed discussion on key issues including the long pending demands of Kargil, reduction in budget allocation, unemployment among youth, admission challenges faced by Ladakhi students in J&K, and other major concerns of the region,” Haneefa said.
Home Minister gave a patient hearing and assured that necessary and appropriate actions will be taken at the earliest.
“I remain confident that under his visionary leadership, these long-standing issues will be addressed in the best interest of the people of Ladakh,” He concluded.
