Leh, December 13, 2025:
Under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and as per the directions of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority (LLSA), the 4th National Lok Adalat was inaugurated today at the District Court Complex, Leh by Hon’ble Shri Yash Paul Sharma, Member Secretary, LLSA.
The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Leh organized the Lok Adalat at the District Court Complex Leh, along with Munsif Courts at Nubra and Khaltsi. A total of six benches were constituted to hear and dispose of cases.

Bench No. 1: Ms. Spalzes Angmo, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Leh, with Advocate Nema Stanzin

Bench No. 2: Smt. Phuntsog Angmo, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Leh, with Advocate Kunzang Chorol

Bench No. 3: Shri Wangail Tsering, Special Mobile Magistrate, Leh, with Advocate Siddharth Nurboo

Bench No. 4: Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Leh, with Tehsildar, Leh

Bench No. 5 (Khaltsi): Ms. Deldan Angmo, Munsiff Khaltsi, with Abdul Samad, Naib Tehsildar Skurbuchan

Bench No. 6 (Nubra): Ms. Deldan Angmo, Munsiff Nubra, with Advocate
During the Lok Adalat, cases related to bank recovery matters, matrimonial disputes, criminal compoundable cases, civil cases, labour disputes, and other categories were taken up for settlement.
In total, 391 cases were taken up, of which 308 cases were successfully disposed of. The overall settlement amount reached ₹1,40,84,733 (Rupees One Crore Forty Lakh Eighty-Four Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Three only).
The National Lok Adalat provided an effective platform for speedy, amicable, and cost-free dispute resolution, reinforcing access to justice for the people of Leh district.
