Kargil: On the directions of Chairman/CEC LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan, a 4-day long educational-cum-exposure tour was organized for young artists of Kargil to SECMOL Ladakh and the group was led by Sajjad Hussain their mentor.

During their stay at SECMOL, they interacted with founder and famous Social Scientist and Magsaysay Awardee, Sonam Wangchuk and learned about the art of sustainable living.

The young artists including students also interacted with famous model and Bollywood actor Milind Sonman and learned about the value of exercise and love for the environment.

The experts at SECMOL imparted the idea of learning revolution by using ecologically sustainable ways of life.

They also visited various sections of SECMOL and inventions and learnt about their importance in the fragile environment of Ladakh during daily life.

They also visited Shape Studio and interacted with the famous Sculptor Tsering Gyurmed. Besides this, they also visited Shesrig Studio and the 17000 ft Foundation next chapter library.

Sajjad Hussain, a teacher at HS Thasgam said the trip was fruitful for his students which has enlightened their area of thought and thinking about life.

He thanked Chairman/CEC LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan for successfully organizing the trip and the administration of SECMOL Ladakh.
