Kargil: The 10th CEC Cup Archery Tournament was organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department in collaboration with Archery Association Zanskar from 14 to 15 October 2024.
On the concluding day, Executive Councilor ZDA, RDD, Cooperative and Information, LAHDC, Kargil Er. Punchok Tashi was present as chief guest and Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk was guest of honour, President ZBA, President ZBAYW, Mohd. Yousuf, Activity Incharge DYSS Kargil and Sub Divisional Officers were present.
While addressing the gathering, the EC emphasized the importance of maintaining sportsmanship and promoting communal harmony within the sub-division. He also congratulated the winning teams.
A total of 39 teams participated in the tournament, with Zanskar United lifting the cup and Archer Crew Padum finishing as runners-up.
The EC, along with other guests, distributed trophies and prizes to the winners.
