2000 key stone Golden Layer poultry birds distributed to 3 entrepreneurs

NUBRA: Animal Husbandry Department, Union Territory Ladakh Tuesday distributed a total of 2000 key stone Golden Layer poultry birds distributed among three local entrepreneurs from Nubra, Khaltse and Kharu block.

The birds were distributed Revolving, Subsidy Fund at Poultry Farm, Changspa Leh.

Director, Animal Husbandry Department, UT Ladakh, Dr Mohd Iqbal and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh, Dr Stanzin Rabgais were present on the occasion.

Incharge Poultry Development Officer, Leh, Dr Shakil Ahmad informed that 2000 key stone Golden Layer poultry birds distributed among three local entrepreneurs from Nubra, Khaltse and Kharu block, under Revolving, Subsidy Fund at Poultry Farm, Changspa Leh.

Dr Shakil Ahmad informed that such layer birds would be made available in future for the interested poultry farmers of Leh district.
