Leh: The Plain areas of the Union Territory of Ladakh have received seasons first snowfall while the Drass town in Kargil froze to minus 15. Moreover, the weathermen predicted clear sky till Nov 19.

“Season’s 1st snowfall in plains of Ladakh including Leh & Kargil during past 24 hours,” officials at Meteorological Centre Leh-Ladakh told Indus Dispatch.
In past 24 hours, 2 cm snow accumulated in Yurtung Leh, 2 cm in Choglamsar, 7.5cm in Padum Zanskar, 12 cm in Drass 2 cm in Kargil, 3 cm in Wakha, Diskit NubraTrace(Very light), 40 cm in Minamarg, 9 cm in Panikhar and 6 cm Sankoo.
