New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding is signed between National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, Leh and Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, New Delhi on 07-10-25 at the headquarter of Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, New Delhi. The main objective of the MoU is to work in collaboration between above two institutions on Survey, collection and documentation of High-Altitude Medicinal plants used in Homeopathy and Sowa Rigpa system of medicine. The MoU is signed by Dr: Subhash Kaushik, Director General, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy and on behalf of National Institute of Sowa-Riga, Dr. Padma Gurmet, Director, National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, Leh. The total term of project is for 3 years and the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy will provide full funding for the study. The MoU is mile stone for study of common medicinal plants used in Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine and Homeopathy for development of drugs on the basis of knowledge of Sowa-Rigpa and Homeopathy.
