Leh: Lt. Governor of Ladakh Union Territory, RK Mathur held a meeting with Secretary Ministry Of Culture Govt. of India Govind Mohan and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism Secretary of Ladakh, Additional Director General, Archeological Survey of India and Acting Vice Chancellor, Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh at Raj Niwas.
The meeting discussed steps needed to upgrade the Central Institute of Buddhist studies in enhancing the means & methods of inculcation of the wisdom of Buddhist thoughts & literature, knowledge of sowa rigpa, scroll painting, sculpture, Buddhist philosophy etc.
