LEH: Partnering with the Aditya Mehta Foundation, the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh in yet another development in sports sector will prepare specially-abled individuals for the Paralympics after online screening.
The LAHDC Leh, in collaboration with the Aditya Mehta Foundation, started the online screening of specially-abled individuals since the other day.
The selected candidates will receive specialized training in Hyderabad under the guidance of LAHDC Leh, in partnership with the Aditya Mehta Foundation, to prepare them for the Paralympics.
During the screening process, talented candidates will be given an opportunity to showcase their potential.
Pertinent to mention here that in second week of this month, under the guidance of Advocate Tashi Gyalson, Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, and the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF) have signed a ground-breaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the world’s first high-altitude para sports centre dedicated to para-athletes.
