Leh: Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Gol, Indra Mallo conducted a 3 days tour to Khaltse block. During her 3-day tour, she visited villages such as Kanji and Takmachik.
Joint Secretary, Indra Mallo visited medical sub-centre and Govt. Middle School at Kanji and Takmachik villages. Also, visited the water lifting point at Takmachik and interacted with the public at Panchayat Ghar Takmachik.
She also convened a meeting with all the HODs of various departments at block headquarter Khaltse regarding the implementation of various departmental national schemes/ program in UT Ladakh.
Similarly, she visited Community Health Center (CHC) Khaltse, Government Degree College Khaltse, Govt. Higher Secondary and Middle School Khaltse.
Later, Joint Secretary visited NHPC Nimmo Basgo Alchi 45MW Hydel project. It was decided in the meeting that the new construction and upgradation of Higher Secondary School, Khaltse would be taken by NHPC under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The meeting was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad,Tehsildar Khaltse,Tanveer Ahmad and all HODs of various departments.
