Kargil: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan along with district officers celebrated HGT Campaign in a unique way by hosting national flags at historical places of Kargil under the aegis of Azadi Kav Amrit Mahotsav.
Councillors of LAHDC, Kargil, Aga Sayed Abass and Abdul Rahim, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Mohid-ud-Din, ACR/CEO KDA, Kargil, Deputy Secretary, LAACL, Kargil, Nazir Hussain, SDM Sankoo, Mohd Hanif, AD Tourism Aga Sayed Towha, BDC Sankoo Mehdi Akhoon, BDO T-Suru Yasir Hussain along with other sub-divisional officers of Sankoo were present ion the occasion.

Large number of different tribes of ethnic cultural artists with full traditional costumes and large number of inhabitants of adjoining area jointly hoisted the National Flag at the Historic sites of World Biggest Collosal Buddha Statute, Tomb of Rgyal Khatoon Kharchey Khar and Karpokhar Astana.
The event was jointly organized under the guidance of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil and District Administration Kargil.
The event was initiated and executed by the Department of Tourism and Culture UT Ladakh. The special program for celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga under the banner of AKAM was an initiative to celebrate and showcase the diversity, unique culture and traditions of Kargil UT Ladakh with the hoisting of National Flags at the historical places.

Similarly, a long march from Karpokhar Astana to Karpokhar Shagaran was also organized by the Department of Tourism and Culture, UT Ladakh with full nationalistic fervour to celebrate Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of the Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ended with cleanliness drive at Shahgaran.
