Leh: On the day 3 of Good Governence Week, the Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Leh held an awareness program in the presence of AD, FCS&CA, Leh. During the programme, the concerned officials raised awareness about fortified rice, scale of ration, procedures related to ration cards and One Nation One Ration Card. It also held discussion on public grievances like increase in scale of Atta, reverification of PHH/BPL ration cards, reduction of kerosene oil rate, etc.

In Nyoma sub-division, a program focused on good governance was organised in Keray and Anlay villages in collaboration with all the line departments as a part of Good Governance Day week program. The event aimed to apprise the public about departmental schemes and to deliver services at the doorstep. It also focused on redressing public grievances and to promoting citizen-centric governance.

Continuing the observation of Good Governance Week in Likir sub-division, a camp was organised at Mangue village under the supervision of SDM Likir where all the line departments, including Revenue, Rural, Health, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Cooperative, PHE and PDD participated in providing door step delivery of government services. The camp saw a large number of people availing government services like Income certificate, Resident certificate, Scheduled Tribe certificate. Also a special Aadhar camp was held, especially to enroll children below five-years.

On the third day of GGW, the teams of officers from Nubra Sub-Division observed the Good Governance programme in different villages.
In this context, the team headed by SDM Nubra visited Lakjung village and the team led by Tehsildar Diskit visited Hunder village. Similarly, the team of Naib Tehsildar Turtuk organised a good governance camp at Tyakshi Groung village.
The officers briefed the participants about various developmental schemes and urged them to avail benefits of such schemes.
Various departmental services were provided to the public such as ST Certificates, Resident Certificates, etc to improve service delivery and to redress public grievances to make the nation-wide campaign of Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur 2022 a success in the district.

Also, a programme was held at Tehsil Office, Leh headed by Tehsildar Leh to redress public grievances and improve delivery of services. ST Certificates, Resident Certificates, Income Certificates, pending mutations and revenue extracts among other services were provided to the participants/beneficiaries.
