Kargil, October 03, 2025: Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil today held the inaugural ceremony of a free coaching programme for aspirants of the Kargil Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (KSSRB) examinations. The initiative has been organized by the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of GDC Kargil with the aim of guiding and supporting local youth in their preparation for competitive examinations.
A total of 265 candidates registered for the programme, out of which 75 aspirants were shortlisted through a screening process. The coaching will be conducted over a period of one month, during which subject experts and experienced faculty will provide focused training, study material, and exam-oriented guidance.
The inaugural session was graced by Diskit Angmo, Principal of GDC Kargil, who officially launched the programme. In her address, Angmo encouraged the aspirants to make the best use of this opportunity and stressed the importance of perseverance, hard work, and consistency in achieving success. She urged the participants to “continue their struggle with dedication to secure selection in competitive examinations and contribute meaningfully to society.”
The Career Counselling and Placement Cell expressed its commitment to extend such initiatives in the future, ensuring that students and job aspirants of Kargil have access to quality guidance and support in their career paths.
