Leh: Dy Chairman/Executive Councillor for Education, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk convened a day-long meeting with all the Principals of Private schools of Leh district regarding compliance status by the private schools with the direction issued by Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh, under RTI Act 2009.

Important agendas were discussed during the meeting which include bye-laws of private schools, uniform pay structure for teachers, grievances regarding leave rules, reservation of seats for the weaker section and other backward classes (OBC), etc.
The meeting was attended by members of District Level Committee led by Chairman/ADC Leh, Sonam Chosjor; officials of Education Department Leh led by CEO Leh, SD Namgial; and all the Principals of private schools.
