Kargil: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a review meeting regarding the subsidy plan for the year 2022-23 at DC Office Baroo.
During the meeting, DC Santosh sought details from the officials of the respective departments regarding expenditure achieved till September 2022.
The officials from the respective departments shared detailed figures of expenditure achieved, anticipated expenditure and total expenditure which is likely to be achieved during the financial year 2022-2023 under subsidy component.
The DC directed the departments that are in need of extra funds to complete given targets and prepare a detailed report and submit the same to the office for further process.

After a detailed discussion on various aspects, DC Kargil was satisfied with the targets achieved in terms of the financial and physical progress of different works.
DC stressed on utilization of 100 percent funds released for this year so that in the next financial year, they would be able to demand more funds from the government.
During the meeting, he also directed the concerned officials to ensure that maximum benefits are provided to deserving people across Kargil district.
To avoid duplicacy and other miscellaneous errors, the Deputy Commissioner directed all stakeholders to make a future plan with proper consultation within the framework of guidelines.
CPO, ACD, GM DIC, CAO, DRC, AD Tourism, Incharge CEO, DSHO, Senior Assistant Handloom and CHO were present in the meeting.
