Covid 19: 19 new positive cases reported in Ladakh

Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, nineteen new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 292 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 217 sample reports in Leh and 54 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that six patients were cured and discharged. All patients were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh has received nineteen positive sample reports. All of them were received by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 134, out of which 128 active cases are in Leh district and 6 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2262 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 487 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 168 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
