Leh, September 17, 2026: A four-member team from the CBSE Academic Unit, New Delhi, visited the DIET Leh Centre and Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Leh, to review the ongoing remedial coaching classes for students of Classes 10 and 12.
The team, comprising Ms. Anjali Chhabara, Shri Al Hilal Ahmed, Dr. Meena Sehrawat and Ms. Prachi Dixit, Additional Directors and Associate Professors, is visiting Ladakh from September 12 to 22, 2026.
The expert teaching programme focuses on strengthening students’ preparation for the forthcoming CBSE examinations, with academic support being provided in Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics.
The remedial classes have been organised under the directions and guidance of Ms. Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Administrative Secretary, School Education, UT Ladakh.
During the visit, the CBSE team interacted with students, reviewed the progress of the coaching programme and assessed their learning needs. Students actively participated in the sessions and shared positive feedback about the additional academic guidance.
The visiting officers were welcomed with traditional khataks by S. D. Namgail, Principal, DIET Leh.
The one-month expert teaching programme, being implemented across Ladakh, is aimed at strengthening academic support and improving examination preparedness among students appearing for the upcoming CBSE examinations.
