Leh, November 7: The School Education Department, UT Ladakh, conducted a one-day Technical Orientation Program on UDISE+ and PRABANDH portals at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, to strengthen data management and reporting systems in the education sector.
Secretary School Education, Bhanu Prabha (IAS), and Director School Education, Tashi Dolma (JKAS), inaugurated the session, highlighting the importance of accurate data collection and timely reporting for evidence-based planning and monitoring.
Resource persons from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, led detailed sessions on data entry, validation, error correction, and real-time monitoring using the two digital platforms. MIS coordinators and teachers from school, block, district, and UT levels participated actively, sharing insights on best practices and challenges at the grassroots level.
Participants lauded the initiative for improving efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in educational data systems. The department reaffirmed its commitment to using technology for stronger, transparent, and data-driven educational governance across Ladakh.
