Leh: Dy Chairman, LAHDC Leh flagged off a group of young atheletes for the 17th National S.T. Speed Skating Championship to be held from 27th to 31st May 2022 in New Delhi. Ladakhi athletes are participating in the categories of Junior D (10-13 yrs), Junior C (13-15 yrs), and Junior B (15-17 yrs).
Dy Chairman Angchuk extended his best wishes to the team and advised the young atheletes to always strive for learning something new. He also assured them of all possible assistance from the Hill Council, Leh in the future as well.
Councillor Lamayuru, Dr. Morup Dorjey, officials of the Department of Youth, Services and Sports, Leh, team coach and the parents of the atheletes were present during the fag-off ceremony.
