Leh: The administration of Ladakh has asked students, who are pursuing careers in Journalism from a recognised University to apply for Danish Siddiqui scholarship.
“Students pursuing a career in Journalism from a recognized University may apply for a scholarship,” an official spokesperson told IndusDispatch.

The Scholarship is announced by Agghaz foundation to honor, photojournalist who was killed while covering clash between Afghan security forces and Taliban.
Agghaz foundation was constituted in 2021 to honor Danish Siddiqui.
This is 2nd Danish Siddiqui Memorial Scholarship. The shcholarship will be awarded to students on their academic merit and financial needs. As per the eligibility criteria, students whose parents have annual income Rs 3,50000 or less are eligible to apply.
