Leh, October 31:
The staff of LAHDC Leh hosted a heartfelt farewell interaction with the Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, Adv. Tashi Gyalson; Deputy Chairman, Shri Tsering Angchuk; and Executive Councillors, Shri Stanzin Chosphel, Shri Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, and Shri Ghulam Mehdi, marking the conclusion of the 6th LAHDC Leh’s tenure.
The gathering was marked by gratitude and reflection on a five-year journey defined by visionary leadership, teamwork, and service to the people of Leh.
On behalf of the Council staff, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, CCF, LAHDC Leh, expressed appreciation to the outgoing leadership for their guidance and support. He praised CEC Gyalson for his humility and people-first approach, describing him as a leader who “led by example and inspired confidence among staff.”
In his remarks, CEC Gyalson expressed deep thanks to the staff, calling them his “extended family” and commending their tireless efforts in ensuring the Council’s smooth functioning. He urged them to continue working with sincerity and unity for the welfare and development of Leh.
The event concluded with warm exchanges and tokens of appreciation as staff members bid an emotional farewell to the outgoing Council team, celebrating their tenure as one of people-centric governance and transparent progress.
