NEW DELHI: The Union government on Sunday earmarked ₹4,869.31 crore for the Union Territory of Ladakh in the Union Budget for 2026–27, reflecting a modest increase over the previous year’s allocation.
In the 2025–26 Budget, Ladakh had received ₹4,692.15 crore. However, under the revised estimates for the same fiscal, the total allocation was significantly enhanced to ₹7,377.43 crore, including ₹5,029 crore for revenue expenditure and ₹2,347.43 crore for capital expenditure.
As per the budget documents released on Sunday, the 2026–27 allocation comprises ₹2,542.26 crore for revenue expenditure and ₹2,327.05 crore for capital expenditure.
