If you’ve had enough of these scorching days and are planning to head to the mountains then let us make your decision easier. We are about to tell you of a place that you will not be able to resist heading over because it is chill AF. Keep reading to know more!

Chillin’ At 14000 Feet | Kangsing, a group of artists from Ladakh came together to give us India’s first ‘Ice Cafe’ at 14,000 ft and we cannot keep calm. This one-of-a-kind cafe has a beautiful ice sculpture of a snow lion to enchant you while you have a hot cuppa with piping hot Maggi and momos in the snowy land. Ice furniture, a sauna, and breathtaking surroundings, what more could you ask for?
This one-of-a-kind cafe is built by India’s Border Road Organisation. The idea for this was inspired by the works of Rolex awardee Sonam Wangchuk who used iced glaciers to save winter water and use it in summers. The man-made stupa used as the edifice of the cafe is built by allowing water to fall on cone shaped net structures from a certain height and as it starts freezing on the net, more is added to increase the shape of the cone. The same stupa will be allowed to melt in summers and the same will be collected in tanks to water the plants.

So head over to this coolest place ever to experience the hypnotising beauty of this ice cafe in Chilling Village, Leh!
