Turtuk, Nubra: Under the ongoing Mimang-si-rJabstogs (“Administration at Your Doorstep”) initiative, a public outreach camp was organised today at Turtuk village, chaired by Tehsildar Diskit, Sh. Tufail Iqbal.
The camp aimed to provide government services, welfare benefits, and departmental support directly to the local population. Heads of all departments from the Diskit Sub-Division participated, delivering detailed presentations on their schemes, interacting with villagers, addressing grievances and clarifying queries. Officials also briefed residents on current development projects and beneficiary-oriented initiatives.
A large number of villagers attended the camp and availed multiple services. These included 3 PM-Kisan registrations, 2 KCC services, 15 ABHA Health IDs, 10 Golden Cards, 32 NPHH transactions, 3 eKYC services, 15 Ladakh Resident Certificates, 6 Domicile Certificates, and several other welfare and documentation services.
The outreach drive continues to strengthen public-administration engagement across the region, ensuring easier access to essential government services for remote communities.
