Continuing the district’s public outreach efforts, a comprehensive camp under the Mimings Si Rjabstogs (Administration at Your Doorstep) campaign was organised today at Diskit, Nubra, under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Diskit, Tufail Iqbal.
In his address, Tehsildar Iqbal said the campaign is designed to ensure that essential government services reach citizens without delay by bringing departments directly to their villages. The camp saw a strong turnout as residents interacted with officials, learned about welfare schemes, and submitted concerns for redressal.
A wide range of on-the-spot services were provided during the camp. These included 20 Aadhaar updates, issuance of 23 Resident Certificates, 6 Domicile Certificates, 25 Revenue Extracts, and 15 Scheduled Tribe Certificates. Officials also completed 2 mutations, generated 80 ABHA IDs, linked 29 ABHA IDs with the NCD portal, and issued 20 PMJAY cards. Registrations under PM-KISAN and Kisan Credit Card schemes were also facilitated.
Beneficiaries received greenhouse forms, PMMVY services, APAAR IDs, and medical support, including medicine distribution and vaccination of an infected dog by the Animal Husbandry Department.
Officials from various departments, along with representatives from J&K Bank, assisted residents and addressed issues related to their respective schemes, ensuring that the public received both guidance and essential services at the doorstep.
The outreach camp reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to improved service delivery and strengthened citizen engagement in Diskit.
