Leh : Students and staff of Delhi Public School, Leh, visited the office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The delegation, led by Principal Sonal Mediratta, included teachers and students who participated in a cultural exchange marking the festival.

The delegation was received by the Lieutenant Governor, Chief Secretary Dr. Pawan Kotwal, and Director General of Police Dr. SD Singh Jarnwal.
During the programme, students tied rakhis to the officials, a symbolic gesture associated with the festival, which represents a pledge of care and protection.
Principal Mediratta thanked the officials for allowing the visit and said the interaction was a learning opportunity for the students.
The Lieutenant Governor and other officials interacted with the students, who were briefed on aspects of governance and public service in Ladakh. The school said such visits help bridge the gap between youth and the administration by giving students first-hand exposure to decision-making processes.
