Leh: A revenue review meeting was held at the Tehsil office, Khaltse, under the chairmanship of SDM/Tehsildar Khaltse, Mohd Sharif, on July 16 2025. The meeting focused on assessing the progress of digitalization and ongoing revenue-related work in the sub-division.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the hassle-free and systematic issuance of domicile certificates in the Sub Division. The SDM/Tehsildar directed all concerned Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars (GQs), Patwaris, and officials to ensure the issuance of domicile certificates as per the prescribed norms.
The meeting was attended by Naib Tehsildars Asgar Ali, Abdul Samad, Phuntsog Namgial and Mohd Iqbal along with GQs, Patwaris, and other concerned officials.
As part of the digitalization efforts, a procedural visit was conducted to Skindiyang village to read out the draft publication of the digitalise survey work before the villagers of Skindiyang village. All corrections found on the ground were noted down so that an error free revenue record may be prepared.
Furthermore, the SDM/Tehsildar elaborated on the objectives of land record digitalization and emphasized the importance of the ongoing “Month of Compassion” initiative. He also encouraged the proper usage of dustbins among the residents of Skindiyang village.
Naib Tehsildar Khaltse Asgar Ali, GQ Tsewang Namgial, and Patwaris Tsewang Murboo and Tsering Angchok were also present during the draft publication.
