Leh, July 10, 2025: Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, has urged all departments to maintain consistency in data reporting and ensure that all submissions are well-documented and up-to-date. He made these remarks while chairing a virtual review meeting on Compliance, Regulation, and Deregulation under the Management Information System (MIS) Portal.
The meeting featured a detailed PowerPoint presentation outlining key sub-priority areas and a proposed action plan to streamline departmental processes and improve overall regulatory efficiency.
Discussions also focused on the progress of the MIS Portal, including pending departmental submissions, feedback from the Centre, and the status of proposals currently under reconsideration.
Dr. Kotwal emphasized that timely and accurate assessments are critical to governance transparency and regulatory compliance across all administrative levels.
Principal Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar directed Administrative Secretaries to thoroughly review and update their action plans to align with the UT’s broader regulatory goals. He also called on the Urban Development Department to expedite ongoing project execution and highlighted the need for strong inter-departmental coordination.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar, DGP Ladakh, Administrative Secretaries of Tourism, Agriculture & Horticulture, Rural Development, and PHE, as well as Directors of H&UDD, RDD, Member Secretary LPCC, NIC Leh, Executive Officer MC Leh, and others who joined virtually.
