Leh: A delegation led by President of Women Wing of Ladakh Buddhist Association called on Chief Executive Councilor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Association, Tashi Gyalson and submitted a memorandom covering various demands.
The delegation seek Menstrual or Period Leave for the female employees of Ladakh Buddhist Association.
They also demand LAHDC to assist LBA in establishing a women shelter cum rehabilitation center for victims of Domestic Violence and premarital childbirth in Leh.
