Leh: Tourism Department of Ladakh District organises a hospitality training for homestay owners in Leh in collaboration with Oyo at Institute of Hotel Management, Leh.
On the day 1 of the programme, Director Tourism Kunzes Angmo and Assistant Director Tourism Tsering Spalzes welcomed the trainees.
During the training, the speaker stressed on the need to develop and promote homestays as a part of the eco-tourism policy in Ladakh. The trainees were also made aware about the potential of eco-tourism and homestays in Ladakh due to its unique geography, environment and culture.
Also, they were advised to adopt sustainable practices and right approach for the development of Ladakh.
The training was held in the presence of Secretary Tourism Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan.
