LEH: The Ladakh power development department (PDD) on late Friday evening conducted a inspection drive in Nubra to check the power theft and seized unauthorised heavy electrical appliances.
“In view of frequent power cut due to short supply of electricity in Nubra Sub-Division, an inspection team was constituted by PDD to stop electricity theft and ensure proper supply and electricity during winter in Nubra Sub-Division,” said an official spokesperson.
The team along with Police, village Lambardar, Sarpanch and others conducted the inspection and seized unauthorised heavy electrical appliance, he added.
