Leh: Satish Khandare, Additional Director General of Police, Ladakh Police, UT Ladakh inaugurated the newly constructed passive solarised quarters, jawans block, Tourist Facilitation Centre and solarised lavatory block for tourists at Police Post Kharoo.
During the inauguration ceremony, ADGP Ladakh inspected all the completed works and appreciated the contractor of the executing agency and police officers for timely execution of these passive solar buildings which will help police personnel and tourists to effectively use them during the cold winter season and added that with these infrastructures the police personnel can serve the general public & tourists in a better way.
ADGP Ladakh also inaugurated passive solar lavatory block at Police Post Housing colony Leh. During the inauguration ceremony, ADGP Ladakh stated that Ladakh Police has been working hard to raise various infrastructure and build /develop the skills of Ladakh Police since its inception in 2019, so that police personnel can serve the public effectively.
He also inspected the functioning of various citizen centric services at Police Post Housing Colony & Kharu and welfare of police personnel.
ADGP Ladakh was accompanied by Sheikh Junaid Mahmood, DIG Leh & Kargil Range; SP Leh; SSP, AIG (Personnel); SSP, AIG (Provision), PHQ Ladakh; Addl. S.P Leh; Dy.S.P Hqtrs Leh and other police officers of District Leh.
