DCs asked to organise camps to resolve public grievances in Ladakh

Leh: With objective to address public grievances and improving service delivery, the administration of Ladakh has all set to observe Good Governance week from December 19 -25 under Sushasan Saptah-Prashasan Gao ki Aur (SSPGA).

An official informed Indus Dispatch, that the department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has vide aforesaid communication issued directions/advisories for celebration of `Good Governance Week’ w.e.f. 19th -25th December, 2022, an initiative of the Govt. of India to celebrate `Sushasan Saptah-Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’ (SSPGA) 2022.

“A nation-wide campaign for redressal of Public Grievances and improving service delivery titled “Sushasan Saptah-Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur” will be taken up in the weeklong event under Good Governance Week (19.12.2022-25.12.2022). District Collectors would have to organize special camps/ events and dissemination workshops at Tehsil HQ/ Panchayat Samitis etc. to resolve public grievances,” reads the notification.

“Deputy Commissioners/CEO LAHDCs, Tehsildars/ BDOs to organize special camps/events at District, Tehsil HQ, Panchayats in co-ordination with the Rural Development Department to resolve public grievances and for ensuring improved service delivery to the public,” the notification reads.

Moreover,  District Collectors /CEO LAHDCs to organize dissemination workshop in the district on 23″ December. 2022 collate good governance practices at District/Tehsil levels and submit on the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur Portal (URL wvnvolportalgov in)GGW22)

“The Administrative Secretaries with the approval of competent authority to launch websites/online services of their departments on 23″ December. 2022,” the notification reads.

“All Administrative Secretaries to dispose of all pending grievances on CPGRAMS portal during the week,” it reads.

“Director (Planning) Nodal Officer CPGRAMS Ladakh A K Ghent to coordinate with the departments for undertaking special drive to reduce pendency of grievances Action Taken Report (ATR) in this regard be furnished by the Nodal Public Grievance Officer to GAD Ladakh v. All the departments and offices to prominently display AKAM logo and G 20 logo in all events to be held during the week,” the notification reads.
