Leh: Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk convened a meeting with Manager Bharti Airtel Leh, Stanzin Thubwang to discuss the issues regarding the operation of the mobile tower installed at Taksha, Nubra. Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sangdup was present at the meeting.
After a threadbare discussion on the matter, Manager Bharti Airtel, Leh assured Dy Chairman and Councillor Panamik to expedite the operation of the said tower and initiate it within a week’s time.
Councillor Panamik informed that the said mobile tower shall cover the villages of Taksha, Phugpochey, Kubet, Ayee, Aranu Gongma/Yokma, and Sasoma respectively and this would strengthen the network issues of the area.
He further thanked CEC LAHDC Leh, MP Ladakh, Dy Chairman LAHDC Leh, and DC Leh for their assistance in ensuring good network coverage of the uncovered areas of the Nubra region.
