Leh: Former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Nubra Deldan Namgyal on Monday demanded civilian passenger airlift from Thoise airport to Chandigarh.

As per the reports, Deldan Namgyal former MLA Nubra , had meeting with Saughat Biswas Divisional Commissioner Ladakh, UT at civil secretariat Leh regarding the restoration of civilian passenger airlift from Thoise airport to Chandigarh in air-force flights.
Deldan Namgail briefed the Divisional commissioner about the importance of Thoise Airport.
He also brief that there are many poor people who wish to travel to other part of India for Pilgrimage and health treatment during winter, but due to the unaffordable air- Tickets from Leh in civil flights, they can’t reach to such destination for respective purpose.
On behalf of the people of NUbra valley former MLA Nubra requested Divisional Commissioner to restored the civilian passengers air-lift from Thoise to Chandigarh at earliest so that poor people of Nobra valley will be benefitted.
