Leh: All Ladakh Hotel and Guest House Association holds the Annual General Body Meeting in Leh on Sunday and selected a new executive body as the tenure of old body came to an end.
In the meeting, Skarma Tsering Dehlex Thagang was unanimously elected as the present another year (2022-2023).
The executive body 2022-2023 has been formed as follows:
1. General Secretary: Rigzin Wangmo Lachic Goji
2. Treasurer : Norboo Wangchuk Spurkapa
3. Vice President, Sham: Phunsok Wangchuk , Uleytokpo
4. Vice President,Changthang: TBD by President,ALHAGHA
5. Vice President,Nubra: TBD by President, ALHAGHA
6. Vice President, Women Representative: Yangchan Gangba
7. Vice President,Guest House: Tundup Namgail Siksa
8. Vice President, Guest House: Lobzang Tsering Taktok, Changspa
9. Vice President.Upper Leh: Stanzin Dumbang
10. Vice President, Lower Leh: Gulam Mustafa, Grand Dragon
11. Vice President.Promotions and marketing: Sonam Parvez, The Indus Valley
It was also decided during the meeting that the Vice President, Guest House and President, ALHAGHA will further appoint eight executive members each from guest houses and hotels respectively and two joint secretaries and the Vice President, Promotions and marketing will further form a team of five members to carry forward all promotions and marketing related activities on behalf of ALHAGHA.
The new executive body has declared to strengthen all previous efforts and also work further on the implementation of the non cooperation Resolution passed in April 2021 with the support of the ‘ALHAGHA Action Committee’ to protect the tourism industry for the residents of Ladakh.
