Leh: Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson has expressed deep shock and immense grief over the death of 4 tourists in a tragic road accident at Khardung-la pass yesterday.

CEC Gyalson has conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families in their hour of grief and has prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
In a similar incident, two passengers were also injured at Lingshed route in a car accident. The CEC wished speedy recovery to those who are injured and has asked the Health Department, Leh to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured.
CEC Gyalson has also asked District Administration, Leh to make arrangements for sending the bodies of the deceased back to their homes immediately.
The CEC has hailed the army, police, and civil administration for rushing to the accident spots and launching the rescue operation to save as many lives as possible.
