Leh: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson along with MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal visited several villages of the Khaltse sub-division to inaugurate various major developmental projects in the region. They were accompanied by Councillor Lamayuru Constituency, Dr. Morup Dorjey, ADDC Leh, Sonam Norboo, Xen PDD, Tundup Spalzang, other district officials, and sub-divisional officials led by Tehsildar Khaltse, Tanveer Ahmed.

CEC Gyalson and MP JTN inaugurated and dedicated 4G Mobile Tower under USOF scheme, a 12 km span of Blacktopped road under CRF, a 71.45-meter span trussed steel girder bridge over Indus River, 5 km 11-kV Line with 63 kva electricity substation under Saubhagya scheme, and a Community Hall under RDD and PR, with Store at Urbis, one of the remotest villages of the district. They further inaugurated 4G Mobile Towers at Foto-Lalok and Kanji village respectively.

While addressing the gathering during a ceremonial function organised by the villagers, CEC Gyalson along with MP JTN and Councillor Morup stressed that the current government is focused on providing good governance by uplifting the under-developed regions of the district with modern-day infrastructures and physical developments. They also congratulated the villagers on getting their long pending demands fulfilled.

The officials also paid a visit to Govt. Middle School, Urbis, and Govt. High School, Lamayuru where they reviewed school infrastructures and also interacted with the school authorities on several issues and grievances. They also had an interaction with the villagers of Domkhar and reviewed their grievances. Furthermore, a delegation from Atitse monastery called on CEC Gyalson and MP JTN and put forth their grievances. Both the officials assured the delegations to resolve the issues at the earliest possible.
