Leh: The Ambulift Facility is now available in Leh Airport at a very nominal charge.
Now, by paying just one hundred rupees a divyang with reduced mobility can use Ambulift Facility.
This is done by Airport Authority of India with an aim to make Leh Airport disabled friendly.
Ambulift facility is available at a nominal token charge of Rs.100 (incl of GST) to all airlines for Social Justice & Empowerment of Divyangs with reduced mobility (PRM) or any other emergent situation, informs Airport Authority of India.
