Kargil, Ladakh: Social and political activist Sajjad Kargili has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Sonam Wangmo on being elected as the new President of the College Teachers Association (CTA) Ladakh. He also congratulated the newly elected office bearers — Dr. Syed Ali Shah (Vice President), Dr. Akbar Ali Khan (General Secretary), and Dr. Ven Tashi Dorjay (Treasurer).
Kargili noted that the participation of 101 Assistant Professors in the election process reflects the strength, unity, and vibrant democratic spirit of Ladakh’s teaching community. He praised the active involvement of educators in shaping the academic environment of the region and wished the new CTA team success in their tenure.
He further expressed hope that the new leadership will work towards strengthening higher education and addressing key concerns of the teaching fraternity across Ladakh
