LG Secretariat Bids Farewell to Under Secretary Vivek Rattan Sharma

Leh, November 8: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, today attended a heartfelt farewell ceremony for Shri Vivek Rattan Sharma, JKAS, Under Secretary to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, at the LG Secretariat, Leh.

In his address, the Lt Governor commended Shri Sharma for his dedication, sincerity, and professionalism, acknowledging his significant contribution to the efficient functioning of the LG Secretariat.

“Ladakh has greatly benefited from your steadfast commitment and high standards during your two-and-a-half-year tenure in the UT Administration. Your example of excellence has set a benchmark for all staff at the LG Secretariat,” the Lt Governor remarked.

He also highlighted the importance of teamwork and continuous learning within government offices, emphasizing the TEAM principle—‘Together Everyone Achieves More’ as vital for institutional success and innovation in public service.

On the occasion, the Lt Governor presented a traditional Khatak to Shri Vivek Rattan Sharma and conveyed his best wishes for his future endeavours.

In his remarks, Shri Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Lt Governor and the UT Administration for their trust and support, saying he would always cherish his two-and-a-half-year tenure in Ladakh. He thanked the staff of the LG Secretariat for their cooperation and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the integrity of public service.

The event was attended by Lt Col B.K. Dash (OSD to the Lt Governor), Sahil Verma (Media Advisor to HLG), Sachin Bali, JKAS (Under Secretary), and ADCs to HLG, Chimba Samstan and Mohd Abbas, who also conveyed their appreciation and extended best wishes to Shri Sharma for his future assignments.
