KARGIL:-Marking the end of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with fervour by Anjuman -E-Sahib Zaman Kargil at Sankoo on Wednesday 10th of April.
A congregation Prayer was held whereas the people assembled at Eidgah, Sankoo. Thousands of people including men, women, and children participated in this prayer and celebration events.
On this occasion people were seen hugging each other and felicitation each other on this happy and auspicious occasion.
The Congregational Eid prayers were felicitated by Chairman Anjuman -E-Sahib Zaman Hujatul-Islam Walmuslimeen Sheikh Sadiq Balagi.
Eid-ul-Fitur were also celebrated by Maktab-E-Tabligah Imam Reza (MTIR)Sankoo, Kargil at on Wednesday with religious gaiety.
The main Congregation were held at at Mini Sport Stadium Sankoo where the thousand of people including man,women’s elders participated in this prayer and celebration events.
The congregational prayer was followed by Hujatul-Islam Walmuslimeen Aga Syed Towha Rizvi .
Speaking on the occasion Aga syeed Towha Rizvi said, that holy month of Ramadan teaches us patience and compassion and these virtues should be followed in the day to come.
Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the most celebrated festivals in Islam, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a month when Muslims across the world hold fast from dawn to dusk.
The day falls on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month according to the Islamic calendar. The Celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr were also held, at Various Locations of Sankoo Sub Division included Trespone, Saliskote, GMPORE, Lankerchey, Sankoo, Barsoo, Panikhar.
