LEH: All Ladakh University Youth Association (ALUYA) has urged the administration to withhold the examination for the post of Assistant Registrar in the University of Ladakh.
The members of the association demanded that the examination, scheduled for December 17-18 must be postponed till the Ladakh Resident Certificate is made mandatory for applying to jobs in the Union Territory.
“The current examination has no LRC requirement and hence, outsiders can bag the job. I appeal the LG R K Mathur, the CECs of both the hill councils and other concerned officials to withhold the examination, and re-notify the post after making LRC mandatory,” said one of the members of ALUYA.
